Megan Kuneli
Name: Megan Kuneli

Hometown: Livermore, CA

Education: I graduated from Fresno State in 2014 with a Master’s in Mathematics.

Jobs: Most recently, I completed one year of service with LEVN (Lutheran Episcopal Volunteer Network) in which I served Saint Francis Episcopal Church full-time from September 2015 through July 2016. For my second year with LEVN, I will continue to serve Saint Francis in a part-time position. Previously, I was a Teaching Associate for the Department of Mathematics at Fresno State from 2013 to 2014. As a TA, I taught a remedial math course to college freshman and was fully responsible for seeing them through the course. Prior to that, I worked as an Instructional Student Assistant, more commonly known as a tutor, at Fresno State.

Hobbies: drawing, reading, swimming, singing

Hopes for Saint Francis: Over the course of time at Saint Francis, I hope to continually introduce the people of Saint Francis to a wide variety of new music for Sunday worship. It is also my wish to see Saint Francis find new ways to reach out to those in their surrounding community and I am excited to see how that unfolds in the coming year.

Community Service: In my lifetime, I have participated in various community services. For instance, I have spent time cleaning up parks, painting houses, sorting food at food banks, and even roofing a house. Most of these were one day adventures, but I have always enjoyed community service no matter how small the service may seem.

Past Church Involvement: I was a member of the Music Team at my previous church. The Music Team led the musical portion of worship, and it typically consisted of 2 to 5 people. I was also an Assistant Minister. As an Assistant Minister, I was responsible for writing and reading the Prayers of the People as well as assisting worship in other ways.
